Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to oversee our company's daily operations in Pembroke Pines, FL and surrounding areas . The Area Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of our facility services business, including operations management, strategic planning, hiring, employee training, budgeting, payroll and process improvement. This roles requires a hands-on approach and an individual who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty along with the team, there may be occasional needs to clean facilities if a team member is absent. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven track record in driving operational efficiency and be willing to roll up their sleeves to get things done.
Duties:
- Lead and manage a team of 15+ cleaners in the region to ensure smooth operations across all customers in and around Pembroke Pines, FL
- Oversee business development activities, including identifying new opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and drive efficiency
- Manage budgets and financial performance to achieve profitability targets
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of product/service delivery
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation within the organization
-Hiring, onboarding, orientation, training, performance management and payroll for employees.
-Role may require iOS or Android capability on personal cell phone to use quality assurance and timekeeping applications during work hours
-Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within Janitorial or Facility Services
-Specialized floor care experience a plus
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of operations management principles within facility services
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term plans
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay Range:
$50-$55k depending on experience
